    Cheerful Campers

    This fine morning calls for a light and fresh shoot! Captured by Z Shots, a Chicago-based children and family photographer, the Alejandro family looked fresh as ever as they posed for their camping session! The natural light, vintage props, plus this oh-so-adorable bunch–it looks like we’re in for a great weekend ahead!

    What we’re digging:

    • The vintage fan, soda pop bottles, and canisters were awesome!
    • We’re drooling over those s’mores! How we wish we could grab ’em out of the computer screen!

      Of Blooms and Butterflies

      Butterflies and flowers are sort of staples in a little girl’s list of likes. And for Elise, her garden party has no shortage of these pretty little things. With pastels painting the whole affair and a bunch of polka dot cuteness here and there, we just had to show you this adorable celebration!

      What we’re digging:

      • A lot of the decor were D.I.Y.s by her loving parents. Hand-sewn felt flowers, felt butterfly cutouts for the picture frames, doily accordion fans, mini-tissue pompoms, and whimsical pinwheels were a few of the things they did.
      • We totally love that letter E backdrop!
      • You can never have enough of those hanging butterflies.
      • Butterfly cupcakes that are just way toooo pretty.

        Two words: Cath. Kidston. Yes, you read it right! Today, we’re taking you to the world inspired by the tasteful floral prints and patterns of Cath Kidston! We all know this famous designer for her wonderful take on using print on print, so imagine our excitement when we found out that Luxe Parties styled Mischa’s first bash with this theme! It’s beyond-words pretty, so go jump right in!

        What we’re digging:

        • The play on the pink and blue combo! Definitely heart-stopping!
        • Fresh flowers everywhere? Yes, please!
        • That print-on-print cake that looks too good to eat.
        •  The tasteful mix of prints and patterns that totally reminds us of the wonders of Cath Kidston.
