Splash of Mermaids

Under the shimmering blue sea, we found an adorable little mermaid’s treasure trove of pretty things, and we can’t wait to show it to you! Andie’s party, with all the precious pearls and lovely seashells, made us feel as if we were swimming in the ocean! We love walking on our feet, but this party actually made us wish we had fins! Kudos to Party Magic for the wonderful styling! Who said mermaids weren’t real, anyway? After seeing these snaps by Anthony Co Photography, we definitely wanted to believe otherwise! So drop everything and scroll through today’s post! We’re pretty sure you’ll be smelling the saltiness of the sea by the time you’re done!

What we’re digging:

  • The crepe paper jellyfish hanging from the ceiling! Such a unique and fitting idea that was executed beautifully!
  • That fintastic cake! Those colors are stunning, and that little mermaid on top is just adorable!
  • The sea-themed desserts! Did you notice how the macarons formed oysters with pearls inside?
  • The Decorate Your Own Fishbowl activity! We’re certain all the kids (maybe even some adults too) had a blast with this!

Merry Monsters

We hope you’re ready for some lessons, everyone! Today we are taking you to the university! But not just any university… we’re talking about Monsters University! Before Mike and Sulley were scaring little kids to generate power, they had to learn their scaring tactics somewhere! We absolutely adore how Ert’s party revolved around the college where two of the most beloved Disney/Pixar characters met! And a big thank you to Jamie & Baby Lifestyle Photography for these gorgeous snaps! Before you scroll through everything though, we’re giving you a warning! No, not because the monsters are scary, but because your jaws are about to drop from all the amazing details of this party! We really have to applaud Mommy Maricris of Butingsi Arts and Crafts for doing everything herself (with some help from Daddy Floyd)! This party definitely gets an A+ in our report card, and we think you’ll agree!

What we’re digging:

  • The Mike and Sulley invitations! Imagine those adorable faces greeting you in the mail!
  • Did you notice how the picture frames in the centerpieces also matched the theme? Googly eyes and purple spots — so cute!
  • That amazing cake by Mommyluv’s Kitchen! We also love how it wasn’t on just some plain cake stand, but on a fuzzy green and blue one!
  • The lunchbox and notebook giveaways that perfectly matched the color scheme of the party!

Whimsical Wonderland

Joselle Amahit apparently took some of the “Drink Me” potion to be able to capture this whimsical wonderland fête, and boy, are we excited! Little Rafi turned one and her Alice in Wonderland party, styled by Engrande Events, got us feeling a little adventurous today. So why don’t we take a trip where crazy is normal? To a land of extraordinary things, to a place where the impossible is possible, and to a wonderland where imagination comes to life… and it all starts with a trip down the rabbit hole. Are you in?

What we’re digging:

  • Those enormous paper flowers by the dessert stand. The great thing about this prop is that it is D.I.Y.-able!
  • We are also going crazy bonkers over that birthday cake made by Isabel Pinili!
  • The table napkin placement was in theme too! Check out how they did it! Definitely matched the feel of the party!
  • And instead of sipping a cup of tea, it’s a cup of delicious! The teacup-like cupcakes were totally adorable!

Slumber Sweetness

We’ll keep it short and sweet for today, folks! Why, you ask? Shutter Count captured an adorable slumber party and it’s making us want to go right back to bed! Thank you The Party Studio for Lorenzo’s super cozy celebration! All we need now is some hot choco, a blanket, and a California king size bed, and we’re all set!

What we’re digging:

  • The theme that the mommy picked out for Lorenzo! It’s always refreshing to see unique themes here at Baby and Breakfast!
  • Those polka dot straws with hand-cut bedtime-themed printables! Talk about attention to detail!
  • Those adorable giveaways lovingly assembled by Lorenzo’s grandparents!
  • The photo wall that included photos of Lorenzo each month for a whole year!
