Soak in the silence of the morning.  

There’s this kind of silence only the morning brings, and it’s particularly special for a breastfeeding mom because it’s probably the only time in the morning, if not the entire day, when the entire house is without noise and chaos. Take time to pause, say a little prayer, and listen to the only sounds you hear at this time – because trust us, moms, you’ll need this silence to set the tone of your day, because you’ll be hearing so much from the moment the little one or the household gets up.

Sit down and nourish yourself.

Breastfeeding moms are no strangers to hurried mornings. After some time, you will be able to get used to doing things in a hurry.

But eating a nutritious breakfast, hydrating, and maybe even having your morning cup of coffee (after consulting with your doctor first!) will help you fuel your body before you do the same for your little one. Skipping breakfast will not only make you feel sluggish; it will also not give you the right start to face the day ahead.

Set aside time for self-care.

Fight for your time to wash your face, brush your teeth, and comb your hair. Find time to unload.

Prepare for breastfeeding.
