Bake a masterpiece together at Bakebe

Whether you’ve mastered the art of baking together or are daring one another to try baking for the first time, there’s nothing prettier than Bakebe to help you put your family teamwork to the test!

Hailing from Hong Kong, Bakebe is a DIY baking studio that promises to make the experience easy, even for someone with “zero experience”! No need to do any prep work before heading out, they have everything you need to get working: dedicated workstations, ingredients, baking tools and equipment, even baking apps and chefs to guide you along the way!

With its modern and unashamedly pink interiors, Bakebe is also a great place to hold special events in your family, from bachelorette parties to birthdays.

Let your littles' imagination expand at PlayTown Kids Cafe

Location: Hollywood Square Building, 33 West Avenue, Q.C.

Hours: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm daily

Rates: Php 500 for 1 child and 1 adult companion (unlimited play), Php 100 per additional adult companion

Here’s a spanking-new place both kids and kids-at-heart will enjoy! Playtown Kids Cafe is a kids’ play place that’s perfect for both infants and toddlers. They have different themed stations set up encouraging pretend play – from a fire station and a hospital, to even a hair salon complete with makeup and costumes!

On the other side of the play area is a cafe, great for adults to lounge in while taking turns looking after their little ones. There are even kiddie-sized chairs and tables for when your kiddos need a quick snack break!

Hours: 11:30 am to 7:30 pm (Tuesday to Friday), 11:30 am to 8:30 pm (Saturday and Sunday)

Rates: Php 850 / adult ticket (discounts available for specific age groups)

It doesn’t matter if your kids are littles, teens, or young adults – very few can resist the opportunity to snap some artsy photos for the ‘gram! Once known for its 3D-style art, Art in Island is now known as the first and largest mixed-media art museum in the country.

Each montage or masterpiece is designed to invite visitors into an experience called “participatory art,” where you get to literally be a character or a part of the visual. Not only is it an immersive experience; it also looks great on photos!

Unleash your playful (or competitive) streak at Mad Cafe

Hours: 11:00 am to 9:00 pm daily

Make it a family day and head out for an afternoon of fun and laughter at Mad Cafe. This cafe has branches all over the metro featuring different themes (think Alice in Wonderland and The Lion King!), but we’re shining the spotlight on the Don Antonio branch’s Hogwarts vibe!

Offering a complete and affordable selection of food and drinks, Mad Cafe offers great experiences for different members of the family – from themed play areas and board games to lounging nooks where the adults can enjoy some downtime.

Let off some steam (or expend excess energy) at Timezone AIR

Location: Ayala Malls Feliz, Marikina-Infanta Hwy, Pasig

Hours: 10:00 am to 9:00 pm (Monday to Friday), 10:00 am to 10:00 pm (Saturday and Sunday)

Got kids with extra energy and adults who need to blow off some steam? Timezone AIR is a 500-square-meter trampoline park located in the arcade’s Ayala Malls Feliz branch. The facility is up to par with world-class safety standards, so you can rest at ease while your young ones jump their hearts out.

Make sure you dress in appropriate clothing – stretchable pants, sportswear, grip socks – to have a totally enjoyable time. In case not everyone wants to jump – well, it is the largest Timezone outlet to date, so there’s bound to be something each family member will enjoy!
