Parents, I’m sure that you’ll be able to relate that when your kids ask for something and start giving you those cute “please, please, please” puppy eyes with matching tight hugs and small kisses, you’ll immediately summon your superman powers just to make them happy—even if what will make them so happy is a huge jungle gym experience in the middle of quarantine. Tatay Wendell, as his two kids call him, could not give no for an answer because his first-born son, Dakila, requested for it for his birthday. So, off he went to collect all the scrap bamboo he could find and started conceptualizing how his big present would come to life. He started with three bamboo pieces and formed a teepee-like structure. He then built on it slowly and started knotting away. Oh what an experience it was, not just for Tatay but also for the kids! Of course, his two boys enjoyed the whole process, too, and tried to help as much as they could with their little hands. Look at their happy grins in the photos below! This is love magnified!
