Now that the heat is beating down on us, how about we go under the sea and enjoy this charming, pastel-colored mermaid bash for birthday girl, Margaux? See the photos from JCruz Photography, and some of our favorite things about this big birthday splash below!
What we’re digging:
- It can be quite tricky to hold a party in a restaurant, given the limited space that you can have. But one trick you can learn from this party is to really maximize the space. Upstairs, downstairs, the entrance, the staircase–find a way to use up all the space by putting decorations, signages, balloons, and more.
- Speaking of venues and space, do an ocular before you book your venue, and check out the interiors. If they have any nice decor you can use as accents, use that to your advantage. (It’ll be easier on your budget, too!) Look at how this feature used the chairs and walls of the venue to add to the ambiance–pretty cool, huh?
- Don’t be afraid to mix and match colors when choosing a color palette for your theme. You can have a whole rainbow of colors to work with, as long as they don’t clash. See how they used pastel hues of purple, blue, and green? Throw in some pink and white, and it was absolutely perfect!
