There is nothing more nostalgic than using a children’s book as a theme for your kid’s first birthday party. This celebration for Tobias was filled with spectacular details and desserts! Check out these amazing photos from Photos by Lianne for more.

What we’re digging:

• The dessert table filled with sugar cookies and more by Cupcakes by Sonja, looked like a dream. The intricate design on the cookies are marvelous, and the entire setup including the text on the backdrop made it so picturesque.
• Party Nest created an adorable backdrop with a tent for the birthday boy and his guests to take some cute photos. I’m sure all the kiddos in the party got to take photos as Max the king or the wild creature. And hey, it also served as a souvenir!
• The fabulous cake, complete with a crown and the characters. Doesn’t it look great?
