Konnichiwa! When planning a joint celebration for a boy and a girl, the greatest challenge is to think of a theme. So when siblings Javier Alonzo and Audrey Elise were about to celebrate their birthdays, their parents decided to go with a Japanese theme, and it turned our really well! What we’re digging:

• I love the sushi plushies that doubled as giveaways! They were served on bento platters, too! Kawaii!
• Along with the cutesy details for the kids, the place was styled with zen touches to balance the look with a calmer mood!
• Check out the lovely cake and butter cookies handpainted with Koinobori details. Almost too pretty to eat!
