Public announcement to all fans of Moonrise Kingdom and fans of major cuteness in general–you are in for quite the treat today! Shaun celebrated his first birthday Camp Ivanhoe style, and it is absolutely adorable. If the desserts, the tents, the camp setup, and all the props don’t convince you of how faithful this party is to the movie, just take a look at how Shaun and his family are decked out in full Moonrise Kingdom gear by Johanne Esporlas-Esguerra. They’re so cute they need their own poster–not a single detail flew the coop! So get out your binoculars and look through these photographs by Nicolas Photography. There are a couple of deliciously symmetrical ones that Wes Anderson himself would approve of!

- I just have to mention these cupcakes with fishing poles in them. I don’t know whether to take a picture of them or eat them; my favorite kind of dilemma!
